Forgot iCloud Keychain Security Code

Honestly, I don't even remember setting one up.

Web discussions suggest to 'Reset Keychain' - but the popup warns me that 'all passwords in iCloud Keychain will be deleted'. That doesn't sound like a good option.

Another suggestion was to turn on the Keychain on my iPhone, and go to Advanced and choose a new code. But the Advanced option does not appear on the phone in the specified area.

I tried using my Mac and have similar limitations.

Now with 2 step authentication, the phone and Mac endlessly loop trying to find each other to find/change the Code.

If anyone has a solution...that would be great

...this is a bit disappointing.

I am also getting some kind of disconnect between iPhone and iCloud, also do not recall anything about an iCloud keychain security code and also know that deleting iCloud keychain will exclude me from certain sites and facilities I need.

Are you saying there is no other option but to abandon the keychain?

On your iPhone, go to Settings → iCloud → Keychain and switch Keychain off then on again.
