How do I merge my old POP mail account email history into my new IMAP mail folder?
Earthlink had a server upgrade on the 12th, now earthlink POP account went IMAP, but I need to access all email history at once.
Their upgrade caused my mail email account to crash. So as a remedy, I removed my old POP account in preferences (saving all mail folders of course before). Then I created a new earthlink email account in preferences, however it of course only downloaded the emails that still remained on their server. But I need my entire email history to be included; Inbox, sent, drafts, smartmail boxes, etc.
Let me add, I am working in Lion. 10.7.6
