Apple TV - Itunes Windows 10 connection problems?

Anybody have any advice on how to get iTunes (Windows 10 version) to connect to Apple TV (3rd Gen)?

I installed all the latest software updates and rebooted everything. The icon for Apple TV shows up in my iTunes, but every time I try to play some music through the Apple TV, it gives me a "network connection timed out" message. Content streams fine from my iPad to the Apple TV, which is why I think it is a Windows 10 problem.

Does the computer get its IP address via DHCP? Are you running any firewall products?

Aha. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

The answers are: a) I think so, and b) Yes, Windows Firewall is running. However, while looking through my connection parameters to try to find the answer to the DHCP question, I noticed that the "Make this computer discoverable" switch was turned off. I turned that switch on, and now everything works fine. Cheers.
