Experience with iphone XFINITY Wi Fi

Hope this will help someone: I could not get my new iPhone 7 Plus to connect to my XFINITY Wi Fi. My password would not take as it did for other devices. Comcast support had no clue? I finally went to my Comcast account settings and into Wi Fi Name and password. This has a different password than what Comcast originally gave me. It is a long password. I entered that password and connected no problem.
