Unable to see call waiting option under phone settings

I am unable to see the call waiting option under settings and phone to turn on call waiting. When a call comes in, I'm not able to see who's trying to call nor given an option to end k e call to take the call waiting.

iPhone 6, iOS 9.2.1

Do you have a CDMA carrier or GSM carrier? As noted in Call forwarding, call waiting, and other call features on iPhone - Apple Support if you have a CDMA carrier you will need to contact them (Verizon for example does not have the Call Waiting option in Settings > Phone).
