iPhone 7 synchronized vibration not working on phone calls

I also had the same issue plus ringtone was also not ringing, when I visited apple service center they replaced my handset (iPhone 7 jet black).

Now the replaced phone also has this exactly same issue where phone is not vibrating for calls if set to default (synchronized) mode.

I don't know if this is software or hardware issue but after restarting it works again for some days, but again the same problem comes.

Don't know when apple would come to know about this issue.

I have been having the same problem since January this year. Never been so frustrated with an issue. I have replaced my phone 3 times due to this issue. Restored as new twice, restored factory settings twice, done a hard reset through iTunes twice. I restart the phone and it works for few minutes and then the vibration goes off again! Nothing has worked for me at all!! The synchronised default ringtone vibration doesn't work. When the alarm goes off, the default vibration doesn't work. None of the system haptics, scrolling on timer or other places, iMessage effects, minimising windows and many more don't work at all. I have set my ringtone and alarm vibration to custom. That works but the haptics cease to work at all. I have spoken to Apple support soo many times with multiple people but no one has a solution for me. It is soon frustrating that I am not able to enjoy this phone to its potential. Ever since I bought this phone i have just had problems nonstop. First the battery was heating up and draining like no tomorrow. I replaced my phone and then replaced 3 more times after that because of the vibration issue. I have never been so frustrated with any of my previous Apple phones. This has been by far the worse experience. I don't know when and how Apple will be able to solve this. Not happy at all😟😠!!!

I also found selecting a different vibration type worked too

I am also having this problem. It works for a bit after restart but then stops working again. Has anyone found a permanent fix for this?

Yeah, me too. Maybe it is a bug on iOS 10.2.1, because before that vibration works fine on calls in silent mode.

It seems this has been fixed in 10.3.

Try to set another vibration instead default.
