when i tell photos to create a duplicate photo, it no longer places the duplicate beside the original. it places it at the bottom of the gallery with my most recent photos. it does not change the original date on the duplicate though.
why is this? and can i change the behavior? i like for the duplicate to be by the original. i can edit the dup and then compare the dup to the original.

Where are you viewing the photos? In the Moments and any albums sorted by date the duplicates should be right beside the originals.
In "All Photos" the duplicates will appear at the bottom of the album, since they have been added last to the library, and "All Photos" is sorted by "Date added".
