Wife and I are Apple all the way. We own two iPods, iPads, iPhones, and MacBook Pros. But we can no longer be apple folks without the headset jack on our iPhones. That is non-negotiable! We use that jack for many purposes. We hope that you can either reinstate it, or offer a model that has it before our present iPhones wear out.
You are not talking to Apple.
The iPhone 6s, 6s Plus, and SE all have headphone jacks and are currently available from Apple.
You also realize that the iPhone 7 series comes with a lightning adapter for the 3.5mm headphone jack as part of the package, for free.
