Loose USB type C Port

Hello,

Recently, I have started to notice that one of my USB c ports has been kind of loose, meaning that when I plug things into it, I don't get the click and tightness that I got originally. Around 3 weeks ago, I purchased the new 2016 MacBook Pro with touch bar (13 inch) obviously with the 4 ports. When I plug my charger into any of the other ports alas I get the click and tightness that I had. The port with the looseness is the top left port which I guess of generally use the most when charging. I was just wondering if this was usual with overtime use, which I would assume if the fact that I've had it for only three weeks not be the case, or if this was some kind of production problem. I also use the top right port frequently but it hasn't loosened up.

Same problem with a Macbook Pro 2016, 15 inch with 4 usb-c ports. Both the left 2 ports have bad connection. If I use the Satechi USB-C hub with usb and HDMI, I get strange problems when I put it on one of the both left ports. My internet connection is interupted. If I wiggle just a tiny bit with the usb-cable, the internet-connection is restored, and the webpage is loading as it should. Both the right usb-c ports have no problem at all..Macbook is just one week old! Very disappointed too..

Same issues here on the left side of my late 2016 15" MacBook Pro. Sync with iPhone or charge the computer, if I just jiggle the usb-c cord it disconnects and reconnects. Will have to take in for service.

Over $4000 for this machine, definitely not acceptable.

I see that you have an issue with one of your USB-C ports being a bit "loose" when connecting to it. That sounds like a likely hardware issue that should be addressed. The following link provides options for you to have it looked at: Mac notebook Service Answer Center

i am experiencing the same issue with both ports on the left side ,the cord will not stay secure enough to continue charging. This MacBook is 3 weeks old and i don't feel like sending a pricey new unit out for repair so it is going back , not sure if i will try a replacement - very disappointed
