How do I find the correct logic board part number for my 15" unibody mid-2010 Macbook Pro?

I need to replace the 2.53 GHz logic board on a 15" mid-2010 macbook pro and I really don't wanna buy the wrong one. Where do I look to find the correct part number? If I can't look it up, Is it somewhere on the old logic board?

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)

Holy smokes Leroydouglas, that was even more helpful! I'll use this link from now on whenever I'm looking for parts.

Cheers!

Glad you found this helpful Moxypot.

Even if the brick & mortar store is out of stock on the parts directly, many times the same powerbookmedic has those parts available through ebay. So reliable source either way—and recommended.
