Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
When I set an alarm using Siri, whe repeats that the alarm has been set between 7 and ten times. This only happens with alarms, not any other commands. It does set the alarm properly.
How can I get Siri to stop repeating the command over and over?

Here's a good workaround solution to the problem, at least until Apple finally figures their way out of this. Break the alarm command down into two steps as follows:
1. Say, "Add an alarm."
2. Siri well then ask what time to set the alarm for, and then say, "8:00 AM," or whatever.
This seems to work.
Yep exactly the same problem with my phone and my sister's phone. My phone is 5c and hers is one of the 4th generations.
It has only happened since the update to iOS 10.2.
Not a massive problem but I would like to see the back of it soon.

Ok..I had this problem and fixed it.
And i have a theory on what caused it....
Just say "siri clear all alarms" and then confirm. Bam...problem fixed.
I think that the default alarm template which Siri used somehow had the word "repeat" in it and thinks that its supposed to repeat the alarm message when it sets an alarm.
Nope, just tried this and it didn't work.
Yeah...sorry about that....had worked for a moment...but then problem instantly came back...had posted it in 2 places and couldnt find the 2nd to delete.
Iphone 4 has same issue. Repeats alarm set confirmation about 10 times. I reset my phone and discovered another issue too. When setting up Siri for the first time - I went through the process. I don't remember if I asked a question or got a confirmation that Siri was set up - but it repeated the same thing over and over. Only way to stop was push the home button and ask Siri a question. Then it stopped. I also found that when you ask Siri to delete all alarms (the one you have set) it will say there is nothing to delete? I go in and have to manually turn off or delete the alarm.
I ve done all those steps and same problem IPhone and iPad both doing it Factory restored the device and still same problem....please help

Apple Support is contacting several users from this thread to run device diagnostics and submit debug reports. Hopefully it will be fixed in the next update!
Tried asking siri to clear all alarms. It cleared all the alarms, but the same problem still persists. This is a bug that Apple needs to deal with.

Another workaround I've found, to this annoying problem:
Instead of saying "Set my alarm for 7 AM" I tell Siri to "Change my alarm to 7 AM"
I have an iPhone 5c running iOS 10.2 and have this issue too.
Just updated to 10.2.1 released today and the issue is still not fixed 😟
I found a one-step workaround. I just use the word "change" -- Like "Change my alarm to 8 AM."
Same here, iPhone 5 - italian language - siri repeats "alarm is set" five times or more! Annoying
