I've been trying to purchase the full version of Super Mario Run for the past few days now without any luck. When tapping on the "purchase screen" it would come up with "an error had occurred" with the support code 804-4172 or 804-4120. Even after the first update of the app this is still happening. I've tried restarting my phone, deleting and re-downloading the app and nothing is working.
I have the iPhone 5s running on iOS 10.2.

Had this same problem. Go to "settings" "restrictions" and allow "in-app purchases ". Worked for me.

I had the same issue when purchasing the full version. I ended up purchasing an itunes card and redeeming it on my iphone. But whenever I wanted to purchase the game I received an error / support code or the message you have insufficient funds in your apple store credit. After several tries and nothing positive happening I decided to enter my credit card info and it finally worked! It used my itunes credit to purchase the full game. I then deleted my credit card info and selected "none" for payment option. Now I have the full game.
