How Do I Delete the Xfinity App???

Go to Utilities - Activity Monitor - then you need to find it, it has the icon as the app does - click the stop button with "X" to stop it. Then you'll notice it disappeared from the top bar - drag it to trash - empty trash. Then the little spy bot Comcast tries to sucker people with is gone!

I am also having this problem. I force quit the app but it still will not let me delete it or move it to trash. Any idea how to get rid of it? The links above are of no use because it is an installed application that tries to take over the default OS wifi selection tool, not a tool bar and it's not an issue of network priority.

Make sure in the Notification there is nothing checked for Xfinity, so choose NONE.

So you don't see the Xfinity icon next to the WiFi icon, restart your computer after you changed the notification setting if necessary. (because if you try to delete Xfinity with the notification selected for this app, it would say the program is still open). Then go to Find-Application-move Xfinity to trash can.

It should work.

You can force quit the app from the Activity.app if necessary. Double click on it there to force quit.

Hold the option key clicking the icon to see if there is more to remove from tool bar

Open Finder>Applications>Drag Xfinity app to trash. I just had to do the same thing.
