How Do I Delete the Xfinity App???

I am no longer an Xfinity or Comcast customer, but I can't delete the app??? I do have the icon on the gray menu bar with the Apple logo, but I can't just command and drag it away and it has no settings that I can click on that provide uninstall locations. The app itself in applications cannot be dragged to the trash because it is "in use."

It is driving me crazy because it keeps popping up asking me to sign into Xfinity.

MacBook Pro, iOS 10.2

Make sure in the Notification there is nothing checked for Xfinity, so choose NONE.

So you don't see the Xfinity icon next to the WiFi icon, restart your computer after you changed the notification setting if necessary. (because if you try to delete Xfinity with the notification selected for this app, it would say the program is still open). Then go to Find-Application-move Xfinity to trash can.

It should work.

Good luck.

You can force quit the app from the Activity.app if necessary. Double click on it there to force quit.

Hold the option key clicking the icon to see if there is more to remove from tool bar
