Unable to enable Siri in macOS Sierra

I recently upgraded to macOS Sierra 10.12.2. I clicked on Siri and it asks to enable the same by opening the dialog box:

User uploaded file

But clicking on the blue "Enable Siri" button doesn't do anything. No action, no matter how many times I clicked it.

Then I tried to enable it by going to: System Preferences > Siri > Enable Siri

This also opens the same dialog box and it goes in vain.

Kindly suggest any possible reason for the issue and solution.

Extra information: I am using the laptop in a VPN of my office.

Mac Pro, macOS Sierra (10.12.2)

Hello skheria@amazon,
As I understand, you're having issues activating Siri on your laptop using macOS Sierra. I would like to offer some guidance.

I believe you may be onto something by pointing out your office VPN as extra information. There could be a firewall in place that is prohibiting the activation of the Siri feature. If you have an opportunity to test from outside the office VPN that would be a valid troubleshooting step.

If you discover connectivity external to the office VPN the following reference may be of assistance. TCP and UDP ports used by Apple software products - Apple Support
