Transfer iweb files from Yosemite to Sierra

Does anyone know how to transfer iweb files from one computer (OS Yosemite) to another computer (OS Sierra)?

I copied and pasted a library file called "Domain.sites2." from the old computer's Home/Library/Applications Support folder to the exact same location in the new computer as instructed here.

But I get an error message saying "Can’t open file “~/Library/Application Support/iWeb/Domain.sites2.”

Your help will be much appreciated.

Do you have a copy of iWeb on the computer with Sierra on it? You need iWeb on the computer in question to be able to open your domain.sites file.

Also, be warned that as Sierra is the latest OS X, iWeb may not work with it - it is not as compatible, so you may find that some things will not work.

You have been warned and perhaps it is time to move onto software that is supported?
