Brand new, out of box, AirPods have dark, dirty seams. Looks like dirt. See images attached.
Anybody else having similar issues and/or have solutions?
I noticed the same dark cirles and even dust around the charging case. This is unacceptable. The new EarPods dont have this problem.
I have these very visible seams on mine as well (Blueish tinge).
The more I use the AirPods, the worse it appears (due to dirt). Cleaning them has not really improved it as is too hard to get the dirt out of the seam.
Try cleaning the AirPods.
It's a brand new AirPods why should OP clean it? The official picture doesn't even have that black beam. Either that AirPod has been repackaged and actually been used or...
One of my AirPods has a blueish tinge to the seam, as if some glue has been rather too amply applied.
I have that on mine as well. How could these have passed quality control check?
