I lost my iPhone 6 Plus in Ethiopia & I Need help/advice how to locate my iPhone 6 Plus while it is offlin.

Thanks for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. I understand that you've lost your iPhone but when you attempt to use Find My iPhone you are seeing the device as offline. I know it's important to attempt to locate your iPhone as soon as possible and I can provide you with some information. While it is not possible to track your iPhone while it is offline, I would recommend placing the device in Lost Mode so that if it does come back online you have actions in place to protect your information and potentially track your iPhone.

If your missing device is off or offline, you can still put it in Lost Mode, lock it, or remotely erase it. The next time your device is online, these actions will take effect. If you remove the device from your account while it's offline, any pending actions for the device will be cancelled.

If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch is lost or stolen
