How do I find the manufacturing date of my Macbook Pro 2015 custom configuration ordered recently?
PS: Entering the serial number to https://checkcoverage.apple.com/ didn't help.
You might try Chipmunk but I do not know how accurate it may be regarding the manufacturing date:

So no official way? Mine is custom MacBook Pro 2015(upgraded to 512gb SSD) the only date I could see is '12/2016', that could be assembly date based on my order, right?
I have never seen a 'manufacture' or 'assembly' date for a MBP. It is my understanding that a custom MBP Is assembled in China after the order is submitted and then shipped here for the customer. That would provide an approximate time frame for assembly based on the order date but not a specific date.

Some 3rd party battery monitoring app predicts the manufacturing date(week) claiming decoded from the serial number. Is that trustable?
I really do not know but I would be skeptical.
