Sleep Wake Failure Help

I've been having the following "Sleep Wake Failure" Ever since I have purchased my iMac and can't seem to fix the results. I have even brought it into a Genius twice without any positive results.

Here are some screenshots of what I'm getting:

This is what I have tried to resolve this issue:

  • PRAM Reset - No luck
  • Erase and Fresh install - No luck
  • Left with Genius overnight to run full diagnostic - Their results came back negative and did a erase and fresh install. - Worked for about 2 days and same sleep wake failure happened.

I'm running pretty basic stuff on my imac:

  • Microsoft Office - (Word, Excel)
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Google Chrome
  • Dropbox
  • Google Drive

That's pretty much it.I'm starting to think I have a lemon?Any other suggestions you can think of that I have not tried? My system:

  • iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015)
  • 4 GHz intel core i7
  • 8 GB 1867 MHz DDR3
  • AMD Radeon R9 M390 2048 MB

Try this experiment, properly remove all external devices (except keyboard and

mouse) and turn off both Dropbox and Google Drive before putting the iMac to sleep.

Also, close any other apps that are open. This includes any menubar items as well

other than those that are Apple default. Make sure, via Activity Monitor, that only

Apple processes are running and no other background processes. Let it sleep for

a few hours then wake.

If Sleep wake works properly under this condition, then start adding things back one

at a time, starting with the external hardware until the culprit is found.

If there is still an issue, you may want to create a new user, log in with it and try

the sleep wake.

There is also another test of booting into safe mode, which pretty much guarantees

no third party items are running. Then try sleep/wake, with and without external hardware.

There is a lot here to try, but troubleshooting isn't always simple and easy with complex

systems. Quite often, it can be the littlest thing that can be the biggest monkey wrench

fouling the works.
