Sending Album Gift - What if receiver already has this album? What are my options?

I'm sending an album to my nieces and nephews as part of their Christmas gift. It's something specific that I'm pretty sure most of them won't have, but a couple might. If they already have the album, what happens? What options do I/they have? I saw a similar question about a book that was dated 2014. I'm sure there have been changes since then. Thank you.
