I see that you are running into issues when you try to update your Apple Watch. Let's start by reviewing the following support article: Update the software on your Apple Watch We want to make sure that there are no steps missed in the process.

If you run into issues, there is a section at the bottom, "If you need help updating" that provides directions for a number of common issues.

Are you currently trying to upgrade to Watch OS 3.1.1? This upgrade is no longer available, because Apple pulled it. The most current upgrade is now again Watch OS 3.1.

It is hard to read the version number in your screenshot. If you are having a download of 3.1.1. waiting to be installed, remove this download:

Open the Watch.app on your iPhone, then click My Watch: General > Usage > Software Update

Select to delete this download.


Close the Watch. app, then check again for a download. Hopefully it will be version 3.1.
