0 (zero) Butterfly Key on my new MacBook Pro with Touchbar is not working

'0' (zero) key intermittent on New Fully Spec'd MacBook Pro & touch bar


I received a fully spec's 13" MacBook Pro + touch bar but the 0 key (zero) is really intermittent on the butterfly keyboard, it rarely works first time.


Is this a software issue? Really hoping it's not a hardware issue as had to wait nearly 7 weeks to get my new laptop and worried they will want to replace the entire laptop And I will be left with nothing.

It happened today that I have the same issue with my "1" key. This is the second key to intermittently malfunction. The first key to do that was "enter/return" in June 2016. Eventually it began working with regularity but it feels abnormal.


It feels like it works when I use more velocity to press the key. But this is their new keyboard. I think it's either a factory flaw or a design flaw in the keyboard.


I bought my 13" MBP w/touchbar in April 2016.
