iCloud Notes in Windows shortcuts

Hi,

I found the problem while using iCloud Notes (Notatki in Polish...) in Windows environment. Please, don't comment I should get rid of Windows, as this is impossible right now.

The problem is that Alt+S, Alt+A, Alt+Z keyboard combinations are assigned to Polish characters: ą, ż, ś - that CAN be written e.g. in this text, but CANNOT be used in iCloud Notes, as these are shortcuts to Notes commands!

This is very inconvinient, also because in Notes does not work auto-correction for Polish language that could help some way to bypass the problem.

The questions are:

  • is it possible to redefine or turn off keyboard shortcuts selectively or all at once in iCloud Notes for Windows?
  • If not - what are alternative solutions?

It is very inconvinient, especially if you want make quick notes...

null-OTHER, Windows 10, Notatki iCloud - all web browsers

There is a one workaround: in order to type a polish symbol you can use the tilde key.

Take notice how the "tilde key" works. When you try to insert a tilde, you have to combine the [Shift + `] with a space. Now instead of typing the space, type a letter you want to add an accent to.

Steps:

1. Press: Shift + ` [nothing should show]
2. Press: a ['ą' should be inserted], or Shift + A ['Ą' should be inserted]

Quite annoying, but it's better than copying and pasting symbols from another editor.
