Please use Roman characters, as other character sets are not supported.

I'm signing up as an apple developer using my company. Says we need a D-U-N-S Number which is fine but when we go to the link to look up at,

https://developer.apple.com/enroll/duns-lookup/#/search

Then just change the first drop box to "United States" we are getting this error message.

"Please use Roman characters, as other character sets are not supported."

This makes no sense and there is no way around it. the submit button is grayed out until this error is fixed.

any idea on whats going on.??? can't join the developer program with this issue happening.

Hello giraffebuilder,

It works fine for me. That is not a warning, just a reminder. If you fill out all of the other fields, the submit button turns blue.

I still cannot submit anything...... I get the "use Roman..." no matter what I do. It begins to complain when I click the dropdown to UNited States. But filling out the rest still won't submit because it complains about my email not using Roman characters.

Dear Apple, I'm using a Macbook Pro, 2013 late edition, latest OSX 10.2.4. That's your hardware and software I'm using, failing on your own website. Color me perplexed
