All Aperture downloads after Aperture 3.4.5 have only been available from the Mac App Store. And only, if Aperture has been in your Purchases history at the AppStore. If you purchased Aperture not from the AppStore but with a serial number in a box or from the Apple Store, only Apple Support can help you to add it to your Purchases at the AppSTore.

As long as Aperture 3.6 is in your Purchases history, yes. I'd hurry to get to Aperture 3.6, before the next major macOS release comes out. Who knows, what will happen then.
But right before you upgrade to Sierra, check, if Aperture is still there then. And make a full backup of your Mac, so you can revert to your current state, if you should notice problems after the upgrade (macOS Sierra: Revert to a previous macOS version)
See this User Tip on how to update Aperture by reinstalling: Updating to Aperture 3.6 After the Release of Photos

I purchased the operating system at the Apple store in cadillac. Now what? Can I download a single application from my packet of discs?

I have aperture 3.6 on iMac at home and would love to download it to this cellphone is that possible??
As I am no wiz when it comes to iPhones/ computers/especially softwares I will need step by step instructions to accomplish it too.
I 'd like grab the fool responsible for dumping aperture in favor of photos and ***** slap him back to reality!!

I am currently using Aperture 3.5.1 on Mavericks and Apertue shows up in my app store purchases.
SO am I correct in thinking that if I update to Sierra I'll just be able to download Aperture 3.6 from the store.
The upgrade to Sierra and reinstall of Aperture went fine, no problems at all.
Now my Microsoft intellimouse wont work with Sierra, and until I find something else I'm stuck with the bloody awful magic mouse, but that's another story for a different thread.
Good Luck, Rich 🙂
I purchased the operating system at the Apple store in cadillac.
The operating system disks do not contain Aperture. If you purchased your Mac with Aperture preinstalled, you will have received a serial number. If the Aperture version you purchased is an Aperture 3 version, try to convince Apple Support to honor your aperture 3 serial number and provide a redeem code to be able to Aperture 3.6 from the AppStore. It is not possible at all to installAperture 3.6, unless it is appearing among your purchases at the AppStore
You can only download Aperture 3.6, if Aperture is showing in your Purchases history at the App Store.
If you own a version of Aperture 3 that is associated with your AppleID at the App Store, open the AppStore on your second Mac, then open the fourth tab "Purchases" and download Aperture from there. It will install Aperture 3.6.
Which version of Aperture are you having on your first Mac? If it is Aperture 3.6 you can simply copy the app over from the Applications folder. It does not need an installer.
Without Aperture 3 in your Purchases history you cannot download a version, because Apple pulled Aperture from the AppStore and you can only reinstall versions you already own, but not purchase or update it.
Thank you I will give it a try.

Aper 3.6 needs OS X installed on a computer with an Intel processor. It cannot run on an iPhone becausethe iPhone has a different processor and the operating systemis iOS, not Mac OS.
