When headphones are plugged in Siri randomly opens by it self causing music to stop and etc.

My iPhone keeps opening Siri randomly for no reason causing my music to stop, fast forward or skip to a different song when my headphones are plugged in. I've tried different headphones as well.

My headphones are : EarPods with a 3.5mm Headphone Plug

Phone: iPhone 6s

What’s wrong? What should i do?

iPhone 6s, iOS 10.2

Hi there, YesseyVincent.
It appears that Siri is turning on when you're not wanting it to. When you're using your EarPods, Siri will interrupt your music playback. I'll be happy to help.
Use Siri on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch -- Go to Settings > Siri and turn off "Hey Siri" if it's on and test. If you have another set of Apple EarPods, test them as well for this behavior.
If your headphones don‘t work with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch -- The issue may be hardware related.

Check for debris, damage, or loose connections

  1. Check for debris in the headphone port on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
  2. Check your headphone cable, connector, remote, and earbuds for damage, like wear or breakage.
  3. Look for debris on the meshes in each earbud. To remove debris, gently brush all openings with a small, soft-bristled brush that's clean and dry.
  4. Firmly plug your headphones back in. If your iOS device has a case, remove the case to get a firm connection.

If none of the above has resolved this for you, Contact Apple Support, or take your iPhone and EarPods to the nearest Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider: Find Locations. Don't forget to backup your iPhone beforehand: How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
