Woven nylon band Size on 42mm case

Does a smaller band ship with the woven nylon band on the 42mm case. Earlier this year I bought an Apple watch (series 1) 42mm Sport band, and it came with an optional smaller (s/m) band for one side of the watch band. The new series 2 watch I just ordered/received, only had one band included in the box. Does Apple no longer send the extra half band for smaller wrist?

Hi

No - unlike the Sport Band, the Woven Nylon Band does not include (and never has included) a separate component for a smaller size configuration.

The 42mm Apple Watch with Woven Nylon Band fits wrist sizes from 145–215mm.
