What is with Live Type
Need rendering text, though Live Type 2.1.3 (sold) is not working. What is about sierra?

Livetype was bundled with FCP 6...but discontinued when FCP 7 came out. It was rolled into Motion. So it's been discontinued for over 7-8 years. The last OS it was fully supported with was 10.5. Sierra is 10.11...that's six OS versions later. Most of the FCP 7 apps, like Motion and Compressor and Color...broke with 10.9. I'm sure Livetype broke with an earlier OS.
Why break? Because the newer OS versions don't take older apps working into account when they make them. If they are discontinued, they don't care about them. If you need it to work, you need to maintain a system with a supported OS on it.
