Suspicious Alert Box... malware?

I woke up to what looks like a suspicious Alert Box in the upper right corner of my Mac monitor...User uploaded file
Anyone know if this is an actual alert from safe software that I may have installed and forgotten about... or is it an invitation to be assaulted by some form of Malware. Any relevant comments would be greatly appreciated!-Thanks

Obviously it is not an Apple alert. I would dismiss it then try to track down what or where the alert is coming from.

EtreCheck or MalWareBytes would be a good beginning.

That is a scam "cleaning" app that was undoubtedly installed by an adware installer, alongside some other scam software and adware. (I forget at this point which one that is... I've seen that icon, but there are so many of these scam "cleaning" apps that I forget which one it belongs to. 😁)

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Mac should remove it. If it doesn't, let me know.
