My phone has been acting quirky lately And I'm concerned about a virus - if I back up my phone do I risk transferring the virus to the back up and my computer.

There are no known viruses for a non jailbroken iPhone.

not sure how having no more memory constitutes as a virus.

if you're out of memory delete some data off your phone.

Go to settings - iCloud backup now

After backup restore iPhone back to factory settings

Set back up over your WiFi when it asks if you want to use iCloud backup say yes

To get all your apps & data back .

We have 7 apple devices haven't used PC for them for almost 3 years everything can be done over your WiFi .
