My MacBook Air wont turn on, Caps Lock light on...

My MacBook Air (2013 Model) suddenly shut off on me a few days ago without explanation. When I tried to turn it back on, there was little response from the computer as the screen stayed black and not a lot sound was coming from the computer. However, when I hold down the power button, the Caps Lock light turns on for about 5 seconds and then turns off; still with no response on the screen to indicate it has booted up. Is there some way I can possibly turn back on the laptop?
