I have been having issues with iDVD and went to install the Upgrade DVD of iLife 11 to my iMac. Now my iPhoto wont open and says it's "damaged or incomplete" Please advise! I have Mac OS Sierra, version 10.12.2. Can I just "Uninstall" the upgrade and go back to where I was an hour ago?

On macOS 10.12.2 only iPhoto 9.6.1 will run. Drag the old iPhoto version you reinstalled from the DVD to the Trash. Then reinstall iPhoto from the App Store. If you previously had been running iPhoto 9.6.1, you will find it on the Purchases tab of the App Store. Launch the App Store, open the fourth tab "Purchases", sign in with your AppleID, if necessary and click the "Install" button to the right of iPhoto.

It has been discontinued by Apple and is no longer sold. You can only reinstall, if you own an App Store version. If you ever had iPhoto 9.6.1 installed, you should have an AppSTore version.
Which version of iPhoto have you been running? Did you ever run iPhoto on Sierra? iPhoto 9.6.1 is the only version compatible with Sierra, and it has only been available from the App Store. Did you open the fourth tab "Purchases" and did you use the same AppleID you used to set up your mac?
