how to eliminate alternate routes showing on Maps - Sierra

I am printing out a map for my wife to go from our house to another location across town. She has no sense of direction and cannot use a GPS. I will make her a return map.

Maps in Sierra shows three routes to the destination. I want to eliminate the alternate routes showing on the map. I haven’t found a way to do this.

Any help would be appreciated.
