Display issues on 2011 Macbook Pro 15 inch

I have early 2011 MacBook Pro 15 inch with 2GHz i5 with 4GB memory.

Sometimes, I encounter this problem where my display goes weird like the picture above and they getting stuck on the white screen forever and never boots up.

What is happening to my laptop?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)

MacBook Pro early/late 2011 had repair extension program for video issue.
