It sounds like interference to me. Check out the contents of this Apple document. Bluetooth would be correct if you are on Sierra.

Please tell us which version of Magic mouse you are using. I suspect it is a new Magic Mouse 2 and your profile says you are on Mavericks. If that is the case you must upgrade to El Capitan minimum for it to work properly. It needs bluetooth 4.0
