Unable to sync ipod Model MB74SLL, 8 GB Version 1.0.4 on windows 10. When I connect it iTunes doesn't open or respond to device. I've tried everything, including trying to reset my ipod. I would like to reset and put new tunes on it.

WWhat helped me was one of the answers I received from the Apple support community and that was to try and hook up to another computer using USB. I did this and was able to format my iPod, then attach to my computer and sync and put new tunes on.
