iPhone 5s always ask to calibrate compass

I have recently purchased a new iPhone 5s 32GB having iOS 8.2 installed on it. Everything is working fine and perfectly except the compass app. Each time I open the app it shows a circle with a red ball inside it asking to calibrate the compass showing a message: "Tilt the screen to roll the ball around the circle".

After calibrating, the app works fine but as I remove the app from background and open it back again, it again shows the same circle with a red ball and the same message asking to calibrate again.

Anyone with a solution kindly help me. Thanks

Greetings f4faris!

Thanks for reaching out to theApple Support Communities! It sound slike you are having issues with the iPhone 5s. The first thing you would need to do is check out this article with steps to Update the iOS software on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch . Issues like this can be resolved by starting with being sure the device is on the latest version of the iOS.

Cheers!
