Transcend JetDrive™ 500/520/720/725 SSD not showing up in Disk Utility
Hi community,
I just purchased the Transcend JetDrive™ 500/520/720/725 Upgrade Kit. This should work for my MacBook Pro Retina Mid-2012 (MacBookPro10,1).
When I received the kit I installed the SSD in the external case as the manual states.
But then the drive doesnt show up in the DiskUtility. I can see it in System Information, that the USB device is recognised.
Also on the terminal I can see the USB device. But there is no way it shows up as a drive or within the DiskUtility.
I also replaced the current internal SSD and booted from an installer USB stick. When I want to install macOS Sierra and click on the DiskUtility, it is also not shown.
So I am pretty sure it is not a problem of the USB cable, USB port or USB/SATA Controller within the external case.
Anyone any idea on what to do here?
Thank you in advance!
