How do I select multiple items in icloud photos to download to my computer. Icon view won't allow me to select all photos from Sept to January. Computer crashed and was reset. backup was from September. All photos from then on not on my photo

Apple doesn’t routinely monitor the discussions. These are mostly user to user discussions.

Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem or a suggestion for change. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem/suggested change solved sooner.

The Shift key could be used after clicking the "Select" button in the toolbar. And this button is all of a sudden missing, only the Share, Trash, Download button are still there. I hope, it is a bug that will be fixed soon, and not a new feature.

Even after selecting hundreds of photos by command-clicking it is no joy, because each of them will open a separate download panel and they cannot be downloaded all together to a folder.

There have been quite a few reports about the same problem, and no real solution.

You can use the Share menu to select at least all photos in a moment.

Use the SHARE icon to select the entire moment. then click away to remove the SHARE feature, but the entire moment stays selected

Then use the Download button.

The moments at www.icloud are in the Photos tab.

Hovering to the right of the moments title will show the Share button. It is not very intuitive.

Go to iCloud.com/Photos. Select the 1st picture and then while holding down the command key, click each picture you want to download. Then click download.

Gee, thanks. 6000+ photos and I can't use the shift key or select all, but you think mentioning the control key is helpful?
