logic pro x uppermost menu bar missing

I am running LPX 10.2.4 on a Mac Pro with El Capitan iOS 10.11.6.

The uppermost menu bar in Logic Pro does NOT show. It is not in full screen mode.

It's the menu bar that says "Logic Pro X File Edit Track Track Navigate Record Mix View Window"

Please help me get this menu bar to show. It is nearly impossible to work properly in LPX without it.

Thank you.

Logic Pro X, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6), null

Thank you for your reply. I tried both the key command and the manual approach you mention, but that only affects the content on the screen below where I am trying to get the uppermost menu bar to show. There is plenty of room on my screen for all of the work areas, but that top menu bar does not show.

I hovered over the top line of the interface, and no control pop-up appears except to stretch the interface up or down.

Here are pics of what I am trying to fix - the top menu bar is missing:

Here is what I am trying to have show (from a web example, not from my Mac):

User uploaded file

The red arrow points to the menu bar I can't see on LPX, it is also circled in red.

Thank you for helping

Good news Indy, I found the fix!

For any other Apple user who can't see the uppermost menu bar on their screen, here is how I fixed it:

There is a setting in the Mac display preferences (not Logic Pro prefs) called Overscan. By sliding the variable Overscan bar to the right, it pulled the screen view out to where the topmost menu bar with "Logic Pro X File etc." was visible!

And even though the feature is called Overscan, the name shown that slide-bar feature in prefs is Underscan, go figure...

Good housekeeping to upgrade to Sierra anyway, so that's fine.

Thank you very much for your excellent help. You peeled away what it wasn't, so I could find what it was 😉

When none of these fixes works, I thought about it and if it were a user asking me for help on this challenge after a certain number of hours of trying to fix it - I'd tell the user to consider upgrading the OS and LPX.

So now I'm following what would be my own advice for another, and installing Sierra as an upgrade to El Capitan. Then I will see if there is a newer version of LPX than 10.2.4, and install that. If not, I will need to uninstall LPX and do a fresh install.

Does that make sense?

Thanks
