Is it possible to use Apple Music on Cyanogenmod without the Google Apps?
The apk provided by Apple for countries without Google Play does not work for me,
it says "Can't open file".

I know nothing about Android software but Apple Music will require Apple software to play since Apple Music music is DRM protected.

Ehhh, don't you know about Apple Music for Android ?
And yes, it's working well on CyanogenMod / LineageOS ! I use it on my Zenfone 2 with LineageOS without any issue.
