Ok I need to burn a dvd on my mac for the holidays and for school. Problem is though my mac can't burn this dvd, so from my technology teacher I borrowed his dvd burner, but he forgot the software.

the one I have is a Plextor DVD/Cd Rewritable Drive. Where can I find the software for mac os x.

If you say versiontracker (had nothing), mac update (had one, but it was an update, not an installer), download.com, none of those work.

I have a Plextor DVD burner and themanual is very specific on how to set it up for use.
1) turn on the mac
2) you have to be running OX9.1 or higher for a USB connection and OSX for firewire
3) Connect the ACadapter to the burner.
4) turn the burner on
5) connect the SB or IEEE 1394 cable from the burner to the computer. The Mac should automatically recognize the drive.
