Airpods pairing is being rejected by my Imac.. why?
Bluetooth sees them but when I try to pair them it says Pairing Rejected
iMac (27-inch Mid 2011), Mac OS X (10.7.5)
I encountered this problem today with my new MacBook Pro. My AirPods had been successfully paired with the machine I replaced, so I was surprised that they refused to pair with the new machine.
I was not able to find out the reason for the problem, but I was able to work around it by turning bluetooth off, and then back on again in the control panel. After that, my AirPods paired successfully.
