Upside down keyboard

No bugs in Windows, that's for sure. You can let Apple know by posting at this link: Feedback - iPad - Apple. The trouble is that it doesn't affect everyone (me, for example), so it must be some hardware/software interaction causing the device orientation used by the keyboard to fail to be updated.

I am having this problem what can I do

I had the keyboard on the side problem too.

First try a reset. Press and hold both the home and power buttons until the Apple ligo appears. Release both buttons. Wait until your iPad starts on it's own.

If the problem is still there try rotating your iPad, see if the keyboard comes down from the ceiling.

Also try Spotlight Search on the screen to the left of the first home screen.

Hi. I've seen another post with the same problem. Does it only happen when you use Spotlight search? Is your device an original iPad Air, or iPad Air 2?

same problem. and it's been happening forever. @Apple, can you *please* fix this?

The number of bugs in iOS seems to be growing with each update... almost makes me want to switch to a surface...

Yeah, I get that too. It's easy to fix by closing Spotlight, turning my iPad to portrait and back and then re-opening Spotlight.

Annoying though.
