Cant seem to get sleep analysis with Apple Watch to work

I tought that my Apple Watch and Apples own apps could booth manage to analyse "in bed time" and actual "sleep" time based on movement and pulse from the Apple Watch?

Not correct? Do i really need another app for this? And what app is recomended?

Best regards.
