Sorry if I posted in the wrong place.

Lately, maybe a few weeks ago, I've had this weird thing happen with my IPad Mini 4 that effects both Safari and Google Chrome. Whenever I browse legit, safe sites I get this message:

User uploaded file

It shows an ok button and the back button doesn't work. It simply redirects back to this. The only way to get out of it is to click to ok button. How do I get rid of it?

iPad Mini, iOS 9.3.5, null

@ShagCA

Yes it happens when I've opened links to sites such as knowable and distractify, pretty standard sites- not malicious.

Occurs on 4g and wifi.

I've just located a clear browser data option within the Facebook app (Menu - Settings - Account Settings - Browser - Clear data). I haven't reproduced the message since I did this about 30 mins ago, if that works I'll update here.

I'm having the same issue, but in addition to safari, it also happens when opening web links through the Facebook app.

I've deleted the app and reinstalled, cleared safari all the browser history through settings, and updated to latest iOS...

Unfortunately it's still occurring....

Any other things to try?

Seems like malware.... I was under the impression that iOS was impervious to malware...

Does it only happen when opening links thru Facebook app? If that's correct, the web links posted on Facebook app is malicious.

Do you access the internet through WiFi router? Have you checked your router for security breach?

You can rule out your (hacked) WiFi router as the source of the problem.

Sounds like browser redirect happens when you tap a link in Facebook app. If that's the case, that link may be booby trapped.
