Cannot Slide to Unlock IPad due to Voice Over
Hello, I have a frustrating problem. I have an IPad4 whose home button does not work. I have been working the IPad through the home button on the screen option. The screen is locked. The "slide to unlock" does not work because I believe the voice over was accidentally activated by one of my grandchildren and blue boxes appear on the screen that move from text to text. I have connected my computer to the IPad and started ITunes to try and access the device and change the accessibility settings. However, when I plug the USB cable into my laptop, it ask "do you want to allow this computer to access information on the IPad". When I click allow, it then says that I must respond on the IPad to allow the computer access. I cannot respond on the IPad because the lock screen is on and the slide to unlock does not work. As I stated above, the Home Button is broken and does not work, so the solutions using the home button is not an option. Is there any way to allow my laptop access to the IPad without having to respond via the IPad or is there another way to turn the voice over off so that I can unlock the IPad? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
