How to stop iTunes from opening up on start up

Since the latest up date of iTunes 12.5.4., I have the problem that the application immediately starts on computer start up. Has anyone got the solution, driving me potty.

Go to Settings>Users> highlight your user name on the left. Then select 'Login' on the top tab on the right. If iTunes is listed to open at login/startup, highlight it and click the minus sign to remove it.

Right click on iTunes in Dock > Options and see if "Open at login" is checked
