Playlist not syncing to Apple Watch

I am not able to sync my playlist to the Apple Watch. I have:


1. Created the playlist on the iPhone 7+

2. Selected the playlist to sync on the iPhone watch app

3. Docked the watch to the watch charger

4. Verified the watch is charging


However, the message is stuck at 0% Synched on the phone. So either the music is not syncing or it is SUPER SLOW.


Am I doing anything wrong?

Check that you have downloaded any cloud-based tracks (Apple Music, iTunes Match) to your iPhone for offline listening before syncing your playlist:

The following steps may otherwise help:


Remove your watch from the charger, then restart both your iPhone and your watch, turning both off together, then restarting your iPhone first:


If you have not yet done so, update your iPhone and Apple Watch to the latest software, starting with your iPhone:
