"Apple Mobile Device USB Driver" problem in Windows 10 64-bit

When I use the "Apple Mobile Device USB Driver" for the iPhone 7 in Windows 10 64-bit, then the phone does not show up under devices in Windows Explorer for direct folder access. I does show up in iTunes devices as it should. If I then switch the driver to "MTP USB Device", then I can see the iPhone 7 under devices in Windows Explorer, but also it is no longer listed under devices in iTunes.

My problem is that I want access to the iPhone 7 in Windows Explorer AND in iTunes without having to manually switch drivers all the time.

How can this be solved?

All drivers are up-to-date. So is Windows and the iPhone 7. iTunes has been reinstalled, after a complete cleanup.

iPhone 7, Windows 10
